A11S Kill

Another raid boss down, one more to go!

Unfortunately Rael was away for the first kill, but we had a guest appearance from the one and only Nhagi, who stepping in as MCH. Hope his raid group wasn’t too mad.

The video of the first kill unfortunately didn’t record since my Shadowplay broke and needed reinstalling. I took the opportunity to downgrade to version 2.x rather than stick with the horrible new interface of the newer version. The video below is of the second kill a few days later with the full raid group. On to A12s!

A7S Down

Finally manged to down A7S last night, after having a number of incomplete raid weeks and having to recruit new members. We had quite a few try hitting the enrage time, so we just need to bring along a little more DPS, and it seems like we did. Hopefully we can improve further in the coming weeks. On to A8S!

Patch 3.3 Update

Well, the new patch has hit with a bang! We’ve had to make a few adjustments in the raid team since we lost a few players for various reasons. Hopefully the new players we have on trial will do well.

With the release of the new extreme trial, the raid group will focus on getting that down and farming for weapons. I was hoping to start that on Thursday this week, but we may need to wait until Sunday if whole group hasn’t had time to unlock it yet.

The Weeping City of Mhach is pretty tough for a 24 man raid. Important to get a clear each week to get a gobtwine to upgrade left side gear, so try not to leave it last minute since it can be quite difficult. You can also get upgrade items from hunts now. 500 seals to get an unstained clan log, and 4 logs for and accessory upgrade and 6 for left side gear.

Izora and I managed to buy a couple of small houses in Mist ward 9, plots 51 and 53, feel free to come and visit!

3.26 Patch notes – A6S nerf

[3.0] The following adjustments have been made to ease the difficulty of Alexander – The Cuff of the Son (Savage):
The number of mines deployed by Hidden Minefield has been reduced.
Damage dealt by Blaster Mirage’s Supercharge has been reduced.

Damage dealt by Power Plasma Beta’s Ultra Power Plasma has been reduced.

Midan Gunner’s HP has been reduced.

Vortexer’s HP has been reduced.
Damage dealt by Crashing Thunder and Crashing Wave has been reduced.

Blaster changes won’t make that much difference. It means that I will be able to pop the mine (if there is only one of them now) and move into position faster, so there will be less RNG on getting bad mines and charges going through the center. Should also make it easier on the healers as well.
Brawler changes mean that tank will be taking a little less damage during the orb phase. Depending on how much less it means that we might be able to take them with a magic stack on us, reducing the need for me to use hallowed ground there.
Swindler changes are great for us since we are currently wiping on the snipers because we haven’t been killing them fast enough. hopefully now we can kill them before they get off a second shot.
Vortexer seems like a straight up nerf, will help with killing it when we get there.
All in all, its a shame we haven’t cleared it “pre-nerf”, but I think we will definitely be more consistent on getting to Swindler and beyond now.
